Today, we joined a private tour led by Janet Bishop, Assistant Curator at the SFMOMA, for the exhibition, The Steins Collect.

Ms. Bishop’s insights into the collection and stories of the Stein siblings and their lives was intelligent, humorous and captivating. Presented in chronological sequence, the exhibition offers a rare glimpse of life with Leo and Gertrude Stein, their brother, Michael and his wife, Sarah, and artists Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso.

Here is a link to a talk presented by Ms. Bishop at the opening of the exhibition: http://bit.ly/nuZXHE. A review of the exhibition, written by Kenneth Baker for the San Francisco Chronicle was published online at this link: http://bit.ly/iKEwBj.
