EDITIONS|ARTISTS’ BOOK FAIR | New York | November 4 – 6: Founded in 1998, the fair has become one of the premier showcase for contemporary publishers and dealers, presenting the latest and greatest in prints, multiples and artist’s books. The Editions|Artists’ Book Fair is well known for its vibrant energy and innovation, thanks to over sixty exhibitors, presenting hundreds of artists representing New York, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, London, Paris and points in between.

NEW YORK, NY.- Sotheby’s New York announce that from 18 November to 16 December, 2011 it is hosting its third selling exhibition in S|2, the newly constructed gallery space within Sotheby’s York Avenue headquarters dedicated to private sales. This show focuses on the accumulative tendency in art that has been broadly labeled ‘assemblage’. It features American Indian, African & Oceanic art, Modern and Contemporary art, Photography and Design. The works in the exhibition range in price from $25,000 to over $10 million*

ART BASEL | Miami | November 30 (by invitation only) – December 1 to 4 (public): The 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the most prestigious art show in the Americas. More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part, showcasing works by more than 2000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

ZONES ART FAIR, MIAMI | November 30 to December 3: ZONES is a niche fair/event that includes food tasting, talks, cocktails, exhibitions, video screenings, performance and publications. A strong local flavor is prevalent, with a extra support on art by Carribean artists. The focus is on emerging artists and increasing their public accessibility. This year’s edition offers daily ‘speed date’ sessions with curators and artists, presenting an inquiry into the potential capacities of each artist.
